Grabe na to’!
For this year, so far this month is the most expensive month for me… my expenses is reaching the maximum level.. wehehe! Ang gastos… @#$(@$(%#$%^*
For a week we were in palawan.. last weekend (march 18 and 19) we were in Tacloban City, Leyte to attend a baptism.. sowsy!
At lest, I was able to try cebu pacific airlines… before landing, may pakana ang mga stewardess duon.. they have this game of speed… the prices will be shirts of cebu pacific… pero sa mga hindi nanalo may mga for sale na souvenirs if you want to buy…
Ang airport sa tacloban di gaanong kagandahan.. hehe! Compared sa mnila.. syempre! Pero duon kasi hindi na aircon, maliit pa.. (charot!)
My cousin Bing and her husband kuya Guilbert, toured us to some tourist spots in leyte.. pero syempre dahil gahol sa oras mabilisan lang… picture dito picture duon….
We had the first flight to tacloban, upon arrival… we went straight to their house in beriso heights…
Oks din yung hows. Tama lang for a small family. Nagpaextend sila ng 2 rooms kaya medyo maluwang… sa may bungad lang sila ng subdivision kaya hindi mahirap hanapin… they had this dog named Tinkerbelle… hehe! She is a small, cute and slim dog… wala nga lang syang buntot… hehe!
We went to San Juanico Bridge, but we did not stay for long because the baptism is scheduled at 11:00 am. We stopped by at Hotel Alejandro, where pictures of world war II were displayed.. old type writer, rocking chair… plans… representation os the boats, and vehicles used during the world war II era. After the baptism, we went to the place where Gen. Mc Arthur’s statue together with 4 more men were standing, near the sea…
In the evening, we went to Body and Soul… the three had their body massage and I had my foot spa… I would have had my body massage if I didn’t have my monthly visit… they did the foot spa differently… my first time was here in manila – SM north at let’s face it… what they did was just to clean and scrub my feet… a little massage on my legs and toes… I liked the peppermint though... haha! but in Body and Soul, when you have your foot spa, while your feet is being soaked, the attendant will massage your arms, hands…. Then go clean and massage your feet , toes and legs…. He used at least 3 kinds of scrubbing materials… after rinsing, he put lotion.. Massaged again, and finally the foot mask… while waiting for the mask to dry, you’ll be massaged on the head, face, neck and a little at your back…. Sarap ng feeling! The attendant was a guy… he’s kinda cute.. he talks to me while doing his job… I find him a bit charming... charot!
My feet was relaxed after… for dinner, we ate at “filindian” restaurant. It was they’re 2nd year anniversary that night and they had free champagnes for customers… the foods are spicy… I liked their calamari and kilawen (fish – bangus).
Before leaving for manila. We had a chance to go back to San Juanico Bridge for pictures… at least, I reached theboundary of Leyte and Sama…. Kung hindi lang kami kulang sa oras.. we might have gone to samara – ormoc- and cebu…. (maybe next time… sana meron pang next time.. hehe)
Sarado naman ang souvenir shop kaya wala na akong nabili… sa tabi2 nalang, we bought some kakanin… and pastillas…
We also visited the ---resort, capitol, and there is this place (I forgot the name), a white building, there we’re statues of lions on the side and canons in the middle… under the flagpole stands lapu-lapu and 3 other men.
We ate lunch at Jollibee… dip ala honored ang “buhay Jollibee card” doon.. hehe.. sensya na po… ay, wala palang SM dun sa tacloban.. pero there are plans daw of building a SM Mall and a Robinson’s Mall.
I enjoyed my stay there… kahit short time lang… I hope when Auntie Fe comes home for a visit, we’ll go there and we'll be able to go to ormos, samar cebu then fly to zamboanga.. nyahahaha!
